1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and restrictions for using LaunchClip, an AI-powered video generation platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use LaunchClip to generate, host, or distribute content that:
- Sexually Explicit Content: Pornography, nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive material of any kind. This includes both realistic and animated/stylized depictions.
- NSFW Content: Any content that would reasonably be considered "Not Safe For Work," including but not limited to adult content, explicit imagery, or mature themes.
- Violence and Threats: Content that depicts, promotes, or threatens violence against individuals or groups. This includes graphic violence, self-harm, and terrorist content.
- Hate Speech and Harassment: Content that attacks, harasses, or discriminates against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Illegal Content: Content that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Fraud and Deception: Content designed to deceive, defraud, or mislead others, including phishing, scams, and impersonation.
- Malware and Harmful Code: Content that contains or promotes malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Child Exploitation: Any content involving the exploitation of minors. Such activity will be immediately reported to law enforcement.
3. AI Generation Specific Rules
As an AI-powered video generation service, additional rules apply:
- Source Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the websites, URLs, and content you submit for video generation. LaunchClip acts as a tool and does not pre-screen submitted URLs.
- Content Moderation: LaunchClip maintains content safety systems that screen all generated videos. We do not offer unrestricted or unmoderated AI video generation. Attempts to bypass safety measures are prohibited.
- AI Safety: We employ automated and manual content review processes to ensure generated videos comply with this policy. Attempts to circumvent these safety measures are prohibited.
- Moderation API: LaunchClip uses content moderation services to screen generated outputs. Content flagged as inappropriate will not be delivered and may result in account review.
4. Enforcement
LaunchClip reserves the right to:
- Review and monitor generated content for compliance with this AUP.
- Remove or block content that violates this policy without prior notice.
- Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate this policy.
- Report illegal content or activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
- Refuse service to any URL, user, or content at our sole discretion.
5. Reporting Violations
If you believe content generated through LaunchClip violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it immediately to support@launchclip.net with:
- A description of the content and why you believe it violates this policy.
- Any relevant video IDs, URLs, or account information.
- Screenshots or other supporting evidence, if available.
We review all reports within 3 business days and will take appropriate action based on our findings.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
